SEWER INSPECTION - SEMI SURCHARGED
PIPES
CCTV is used in the "Dry" area with specifically designed
continuous scanning High Resolution Sonar under the water level.
This enables the Invert of the pipe to be clearly seen too,
resulting in a one pass, 360°, complete Inspection.
The equipment can be self propelled or floated.
Sizes from 21" to >100".
The Sonar Image [sonar
explained] is superimposed onto the
CCTV picture, resulting in a single video file.
This method is also a perfect tool for measuring Debris prior
to cleaning sewers (and after, as a QC check) as very accurate
silt levels can be taken. |
